  • Notes
    • Just as it is possible that David's father, Jacob, was one of the 7 brothers that came over prior to 1734, David might account for the David Harmon in the following records, but much more likely a parent/uncle of same. David Harmon is listed in "Refugees of 1776" from Long Island to Ct." by Frederic Gregory Mather, Albany, c1913. (C-2335)

The same is true with the following events. Any might apply to this David or his offspring.

David Harmon, Private, Capt Theopilus Wilder's Co., Col. Benjamin Gill's Regt.; enlisted Aug. 24, 1777, discharged Nov. 29, 1777. (Suffolk Co., Mass.)
He is probably the David Harmon the was born in the 1750's and is listed in the 1790 census for Mass. (C-2333)

      There is a David Harmon, b. about 1750 in the Pennsylvania Archives series. He's in Ser. 5, 7, p. 493 and 519.

The Estate of Moses Thompson to in the Chronicles of the Scots Irish in Virginai divides his estaste and David Harmon in listed on Jun 8, 1779. (C-2334)
