    • Lloyd's 'History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog' volume 3 page 381 and volume 6 page 182 state "she had previously had a son named William, of whom the Conqueror himself was the father." The Conqueror's son William had a grant of estates in Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, etc.

      'Archaelogica Cambrensis' 1852 page 285 states she had previously had a son named William, of whom the Conqueror himself was the father.

      J-Morris' 'Shropshire Genealogies' volume 7 page 3612 states she had an illegitimate son by William "The Conqueror" named William Perverell of Nottingham.
