    • James & his brother major Thomes Baldridge patented 840 acres on the 13 April 1651. It was gratned by Sir William Berkley for transporting 17 persons. On 20 August 1657, by deed of gift, James gave his brothers half of the patent to James baldridge the son of Major Thomes Baldridge. The survey showed James, the son, would receive, the 420 acres by the land of Daniel Liston.(Weatmoreland county deeds, Will, Patents & Inventories)James made his will in 1650, but it was not recorded until this date. Dorothy was named as a widow in a document written by Richard Heabeard, 19 March 1659.Will: To Daniel Sisson (Lisson) the first foal of the grey mare. To my loving wife Dorothy, my whole estate. The will was proven 10 Jan.1659 by witnesses, John Sands & Thomas Butler.
      A copy of the will was sent to Betty Nelson McDougald by Marie Kuhlman.
      James was living in St. Mary's county Maryland in 1633.
