FRANK McCORMICK PASSES AWAY
Franklin Ulysses McCormick was born to Humes T. and Sarah E. McCormick Jan 17, 1873 near Sidney. The same place where he passed away on Feb 6, 1942. His entire life was spent on this farm with the exception of three years at Presho, S. Dak.
After his rural education was completed at the Lone Tree and Grandview schools he entered the Sidney high School and attended for three years. On Sept 2, 1897, he was united in marriage to Vena Lloyd and to this union ten children were born, thr
daughters, Wilma, Nellie and Louise having preceded him (in death? paper torn) At the age of 11 he united with the Faith Home church in Tabor and although
he united with the Church of Christ in Sidney in 1925 and the last few years has attended the Baptist church at Knox, he has always held the church of his youth with the utmost reverence. He was always found ready to give of his time, money and wor
