    • Records say William was a D.D. (Doctor of Divinity?) ofa Blisalnd and
      of Warleggon in Cornwall. He left Browholme Hall in Yorkshire (ne
      England) and in 1580 settled in the county of Cornwall (se England).
      This move was in excess of 500 miles in distance. He married Joan
      Planchard of Wiltshire and they made their home at Tragoe (trawgo) in
      the Parish of Warleggon. He was Justice of Peace in the Co of Cornwall
      for awhile. About 1616, he became Archdeacon of Blisland Parish Church
      in Cornwall after being admitted into that recotory in 1601.
