    • Amnon was murdered by his brother Absalom, at a feast Absalom held for all the king's sons. It was shearing time and after all the sheep were sheared, they always had a feast. Absalom had to convince his father, King David, to let all the King's sons to attend the feast. First, King David said no, but Absalom kept pressing him, finally David said yes, but it was Absalom's intention just to kill Amnon. Absalom then had his brother murdered by his servants while they were eating and drinking wine.
      Amnon raped Absalom's full sister Tamar. Absalom waited 2 years for revenge. Amnon was not murdered by King David's 4th wife.
