      'Peerage and Baronetage' have his year of birth as 1590..
      They also refer to the death of Daniel Eliot (?-1702), when the estates were bequeathed
      to his cousin, Edward Eliot, "grandson of Nicholas Eliot. 5th son of Sr John Eliot,
      the Patriot" Only four sons are named in other sources. Therefore there was an older
      unnamed son. The SoG has a reference to a son Richard ELIOT, who had a son George
      ELLIOTT.
